In most of my carrier I have been inspired by the Mid-Century Californian Modern style, which focuses on blending architecture with nature, designing spaces filled with light and openness, and showcasing beauty through the materials used and the straightforward expression of the structure.
My preferred style would run along the lines of minimalism, warm minimalism, and modernism, however, my experience working for other architectural companies was more of a traditional and revival style which I also appreciate.
I went to architectural school during the raging deconstructivism. (Parc de la Villetteby  Bernard Tschumi)

Deconstructivism is a postmodern architectural movement which appeared in the 1980s. It gives the impression of the fragmentation of the constructed building, commonly characterized by an absence of obvious harmony, continuity, or symmetry.

Modernism was a global cultural and societal movement that began in the early 20th century and sought to revitalize art, politics, science, and life. It was a rebellious rejection of European culture, which was seen as corrupt and lethargic. Modernism was characterized by experimentation, abstraction, and subjective experience.

Minimalist architecture is a design style that emphasizes simplicity, functionality, and efficiency.

Minimalist buildings are characterized by:

  • Open-plan spaces

Spaces are designed to be easy to navigate and use, with no wasted space or unnecessary ornamentation.

  • Transparent windows

Minimalist windows are transparent and fluid, allowing light to bathe the interior and expressing a connection between the inside and outside.

  • Clean lines and shapes

Simple, regular shapes and geometric forms like squares, circles, and rectangles create clear lines.

  • Neutral colors

A limited palette of neutral colors like white, black, and gray create a sense of calm.

  • Natural materials

Materials like wood, stone, and glass create a sense of warmth and connection to the environment.

Minimalist architects consider the physical and spiritual dimensions of a building and strive to create a dialogue with the surrounding environment. They believe that stripping away ornamentation and focusing on what's essential results in more livable and beautiful spaces.
